Day 01: Arrival
Arrival transfers from Airport by our Coach /Car and guests are received by our Company Reparative with a grand welcome at the airport with the band /Garland and welcome drinks.
After reach the hotels and check-in to hotels of all guest. After all of baggage-tags with room numbers are ready at Reception.
At the time of arrival at hotel A Special Royal Welcome with welcome drink is served to the guest at the reception area with the Shehnai players create the Royal Wedding Mood.
Each guest is individually escorted to their well-appointed room by our Indian Heritage Hospitality staff and briefed about the heritage hotel and rooms with the various facilities offered.
A separate Indian Heritage Hospitality desk is setup at the reception for the wedding function to assist the guest for sight seen around the historic city.
Lunch for all the guest is organized at the Shiv Niwas Palace courtyard.
Indian Mehandi Night at Zenana Mahal
The Indian Heritage Hospitality desk assists to guest regarding the sightseeing itineraries and provides transport facilities. Activities within the city palace complex include boat ride in the Lake Pichola, visits to the City Palace Museum and the Crystal Gallery. The vintage and classic car collection is another attraction.
As the evening will start the guests prepare for the Mehndi Night and the excitement grows.
Rangoli with flowers is done at the entrance of the Zenana Mahal, fairy lights are thrown over shrubs and the mashaals are lit up.Local Artist performs their welcome dance.
After the evening will start with well-stocked bar lifts the spirit and snacks are served. As the evening progresses. The guest are start the dance and music increases and join the party with enjoy and celebrate.
Our best chefs give a final touch to the piping hot buffet with all its accompaniments in order. Dinner is announced at the appointed hour.
After the celebration, our Indian Heritage Hospitality staff ensures that the coaches or cars are ready for inter-hotel transfer, if required.
The other option for the mehndi celebration is the manek chowk with the backdrop of the majestic City Palace Museum.
Day 02: Dinner
After breakfast day of leisure and relaxation in the hotel.Lunch is served at Durbar Hall. This magnificent hall in the past has hosted many formal durbars, state banquets and Royal Wedding.
An Evening at Risala
An Evening every one ready to visit at Shikarbadi Hotel in Risala .the hotel is 4 kms away from the City Palace.
Shikarbadi was the hunting lodge of the Royal Family and is today a tranquil Royal Retreat for you and your guest. The Risala at Shikarbadi brings alive the hustle-bustle of village bazaar activity, a special village theme for the evening.
Dinner at Sunset View Terrace
The aroma of Rajasthani foods fills the air and guests can relish the buffet or sit-down dinner.
The choice of spending yet another memorable evening at the sunset view terrace is available. The sunset view terrace a part of the Fateh Prakash Palace overlooks the Lake Pichola with magical Aravalli Mountains. The backdrop of the majestic City Palace Complex rising over the Lake creates a fairy-tale setting for a pre-wedding ceremonial dinner.
Day 03:
The day is at leisure and Lunch is organized at the Shiv Niwas Palace lawns.
The Night of the Wedding
The evening will start with preparations for the Regal Wedding in Udaipur. In the Durbar Hall every one start to ready for tying Safas with Rajasthani Traditional Dress.
The ladies get all the help from our staff with their attire and designer-wear. After all the guests dressed up & assemble at Shiv Niwas Palace, or the Fateh Pole at Fateh Prakash Palace, where a welcome drink is served. A Royal procession begins to form and the excitement grows. The procession comprises of girls dressed in Rajasthani attire sprinkling rose petals and attar (rose water) in the front, followed by Dhol / Nagada (traditional drums used for all the auspicious occasions).
The guests follow a magnificently decorated horse bearing the bridegroom, while liveried men with lances line up the entire length of the procession route with mashaals in their hands.
The Palace band welcomes them and all the guests are set decorated boats to be ferried across Lake to Jagmandir, the island-palace on Lake Pichola.
Regal Wedding at Jagmandir
At Jagmandir, a traditional welcome is organized with a shower of rose buds and flowers. A welcome drink is served. The island-palace is gloriously decorated with lit by lanterns, mashaals and fairy lights adding a bewitching aura of festivity. The 'Darikhana', a colonnaded pavilion, is flower-decked for the wedding ritual with traditional floor seating.
While the priests conduct the wedding rituals, the guests can begin celebrating with champagne toasts.
The couple can take to the floor for the first dance, joined by the guests and relatives thereafter. A spectacular fireworks display from Lakeside begins ... and the buffet is laid out for the auspicious evening. The festivities go on till lake in the night ... boats are made available through the night.
Day 04: Departure
The guests to leave with fond memories of the Royal Wedding in Udaipur and our Indian Heritage Hospitality staff ensures that the coaches / cars are ready to transfer them to the airport and railway station.All ticketing and logistics are handled by our Travel Desk. Airport transfer by coach. |
