Destination Covered:   Dibrugarh-Wakro-Tezu-Roing-Pasighat-Kaziranga National Park

Day 1: Arrive Dibrugarh by Ex-Delhi/Kolkata Flight
Receive and transfer to a Heritage Chang Bungalow (14kms/30 mints) in the midst of a rolling tea garden. Afternoon-take a nature walk in a natural protected forest area and visit an ethnic Assamese Village. Evening, enjoy an Assamese Bihu dance on the Bungalow lawns. Overnight at the Chang Bungalow.
Dibrugarh-the Tea Hub of upper Assam and gateway to "the Hidden Land of Eastern Arunachal Pradesh is located on the Southern bank of the mighty Brahmaputra River". Located in the lush green environment of tea gardens, Dibrugarh is the original home of the beverage. It is the centre for Heritage Tea industry.

Day 2: Drive to Wakro
Drive to Wakro (145kms/5hrs) in the Lohit district - abode of the colorful Taron and Kaman (Digaru and Miju), the sub-tribes of Mishmi. At Wakro visit Mishmi Tribal villages to know about their rich culture and traditions. Overnight at a Government Circuit House (Basic).
Miju and Digaru Mishmis believe in a supreme impersonal creator and nature worship. They believe in spirits and deities residing in trees, water, air and the sky. These tribes have a rich heritage, unique folklore, customs and practices.

Day 3: Drive to Tezu
Drive to Tezu inhabited by the Digaru and Miju Mishmis (60kms/2hrs). This drive will take you through the lower hills covered with evergreen forests and innumerable rivers and rivulets cascading down from the rocky heights and rippling through the green expanse of valleys.Overnight at a Government Guest House (Basic).
Tezu - the headquarter of Lohit district is abode of the colourful Taron and Kamans. Interact with the Digaru Mishmi, Miju Mishmi and the Khampti tribes and enjoy the drive with the natural view of the foothills of the Himalayan 

Day 4: Drive to Roing
After breakfast we proceed to Roing (110kms/2hrs) in the Dibang valley of Arunachal Pradesh crossing the Lohit River at Digaru, stopping enroute at the Old Paya Circuit House to enjoy a cup of tea. After lunch we interface with the Mishmi tribes and visit the ruins of the Bishmaknagar (29kms from Roing)-one of the oldest archaeological site which can be called a "Hill Fort" made of burnt bricks and dating back to the 12th Century. Overnight at a Tourist lodge (Basic-Sally Lake).

Day 5: Roing to Pasighat
After early breakfast drive to Pasighat (115kms/5hrs). An adventurous drive through forest and riverside. Visit Tribal villages inhabited by Adi Padam tribe enroute to have a glimpse of their tradition and culture. Spend a leisure time with the tribes and be a part of their life for a day. Reach late in the afternoon. Overnight at a Circuit House or Hotel (Basic).

Day 6: Explore Pasighat
At Pasighat visit the Pasi and Padam tribal villages to discover the intriguing traditions of ancient lifestyles lived out against one of the most diverse ecological settings in the country. Uncover the myths and legends of this land and its people. Overnight at a Circuit House or Hotel (Basic).

Pasighat - with its scenic splendors is Arunachals oldest town and also the district headquarter of East Siang. This region is the home of Adi tribe which belongs to the Tibeto-Burmese group. They believe in a religion based on natural deities that takes control of the natural properties. They worship Donyi - Polo (Sun and Moon) as ultimate creator of universe. Their prayers with verses and hymns resembles the ancient scriptures like Vedas and Upanishads.

Day 7: Cruise down to Dibrugarh
After breakfast we drive to the river front, ferry across with the vehicle in a country boat and cruise down on the mighty river Brahmaputra to reach Dibrugarh (4hrs). Enroute there is a possibility of your sighting flocks of migratory water birds and the elusive Gangetic River Dolphin. Evening relax. Option to go for shopping. Transferred to a Heritage Chang Bungalow for overnight stay.

Day 8: At Dibrugarh/ Tea Tour
After leisurely breakfast, we take you for a tour of a Heritage Tea Garden to know the origin and the history of tea-how it is grown, its culture, all about tea tasting and its quality. Afternoon at leisure. Overnight at the Chang bungalow.

Day 9: Drive to Kaziranga National Park
After breakfast drive on to Kaziranga National Park (220km/5hrs). Enroute visit the monuments and temples of the Ahom Dynasty at Sivsagar. Reach Kaziranga late in the afternoon. Overnight at BonHabi lodge.

Sibsagar was once the capital of the Ahom Kings, the Shans who came from Thailand through Northern Myanmar to this area in early 13th century and ruled for 600 years. The Siva Temple, built by the Ahoms, situated here is believed to be the tallest of existing Hindu temples. The ruins of the Ahom palaces and monuments dot the landscape around this historical town. Centuries, before the arrival of the British, this part of the world was controlled by a number of tribal chieftains. Foremost amongst these was the Ahom dynasty who ruled a large part of Upper Assam for six centuries. At their capital in the town of Sibsagar one can see the well preserved relics left behind by these people. Palaces, tanks, forts, places of worship and burial sites (vaults) at Charaideo presents the richness of this highly evolved civilization as to how advanced these people were. The largest and the oldest amphi-theatre of Asia is also another remarkable landmark in the history of the place. The Tai-Ahom Museum of Sivsagar contains the some of the relics of the Ahom period, like - war and hunting weapons (swords), clothes, manuscripts, paintings, artefacts and sundry.

Day 10: At Kaziranga National Park
Early morning go for an elephant safari to the central range of the park followed by a jeep safari after breakfast to the western range of the park. Afternoon, visit the eastern range of the park. Evening relax. Overnight at the lodge.
Kaziranga national Park-is a World Heritage Site, where more than 75% of the worlds total population of the great Indian One horned Rhinoceros can be found. It lies on the southern bank of the Brahmaputra River and is one of the oldest parks of Assam. Besides rhinos, the Asiatic Water Buffalo numbering over 1200, elephants over 1000, tigers more than 81, Swamp deer, Barking deer and Hog deer can be seen. About 400 species of birds are found in the Kaziranga National Park. Swamp Francolin, Kalij Pheasant, Greylag Goose, Gadwall, Eurasian Wigeon, Mallard, Northern Shoveller, Northern Pintail, Streak Throated Woodpecker, Bay Woodpecker, Oriental Pied Hornbill, Great Hornbill, Osprey, Palass Fishing Eagle, Changeable Hawk Eagle, Pied Falconets, Lesser Adjutant Stork, Greater Adjutant Stork, Black necked Stork, Grey-headed Lapwing, Indian White Backed Vulture, Long Billed Vulture, along with a large number of Spotted Billed Pelican.

Day 11: Drive to Guwahati and fly out to onward destination
After breakfast drive on to Guwahati Airport (240km/6hrs) to board flight for onward destination.
