Destinations covered : Bhubaneshwar - Pipli – Puri - Konark – Puri - Birnasingpur - Gopalpur - Tapatapani – Rayagada - Putasingh – Rayagada  – Kothhgarh - Rayagada – Jeypore - Kunduli – Nandapur – Machkund - Jeypore – Gupteswar - Jeypore - Visakapatnam
Day 01: Arrival at Bhubaneshwar
Arrival at Bhubaneshwar and transfer to hotel. Proceed to temples - Lingaraja temple, Parasurameswara temple, Mukteswara temple, Bramheswara temple, Raja - Rani temple. Overnight at Bhubanswar.
Day 02: Bhubaneshwar – Pipli - Puri
On the way enjoy the Chita--paintings on the walls of the houses. Overnight at Puri.
Day 03: Puri - Konark - Puri
In the morning visit to Sun temple at Konark and nearby fishing villages. In the afternoon Ragurajpur and villages with houses, decorated with Chita's for Lakshmi. Overnight at Puri.
Day 04: Puri via Tenta - Birnasingpur - Gopalpur
Visit Chilka Lake and its nearby fishing villages and see the fishermen at work, searching prawns, mackerel and crabs. Leave for Gopalpur. Overnight Oberoi palm beach-Hotel at Gopalpur.
Day 05: Gopalpur – Tapatapani - Rayagada
Proceed to Rayagada, enroute visiting the Tapatapani hot sulphur spring, Tibbetan settlement camps at Chandragiri, Soura tribal villages etc. Overnight at Rayagada.
Day 06: Rayagada – Putasingh - Rayagada
Visit Soura tribal markets and villages, later drive back to Rayagada, enroute visiting Hatti Pattar, waterfall on the Nagawali River, elephantstones. Overnight at Rayagada.
Day 07: Rayagada - Kothhgarh
Excursion to Kutiakonds (180 km), and visit the market and villages. While coming back visit Dongaryakond villages, Rarengo, etc. Overnight at Rayagada.
Day 08: Rayagada - Jeypore
Drive to Jeypore about 205 kms through Chatikona, visit a few Dongariya Kondh, Desia Kondh villages. Overnight at Jeypore.
Day 09: Jeypore
Morning, drive to Onokudelli for the local market of the Bonda's (naked people). We will also visit the colorful Gadabas, a munda tribe. Overnightat Jeypore.
Day 10: Jeypore – Kunduli – Nandapur - Machkund
Morning proceed to witness the biggest tribal weekly market of Sanaparoja & Mali tribes in Kunduli (65 km) via Sunabeda. It is a very colorful market. Later drive down to Nandapur to visit village of Sanaparoja tribes. Visit village Khilus, Saana Padar, Bada Padar with small trekking and later drive down to Jeypour or stay overnight at Machkund. Overnight at Machkund Inspection Bunglow.
Day 11: Machkund-Jeypore
Visit of the Lamtaput market, Godaba's and Desia Kondh villages. Tribal dance Dhemsa can be organized here. Overnight at Jeypore. 
Day 12: Jeypore - Gupteswar
A day excursion to Gupteswar (140 km) to visit the caves. On the way visit of a few Dhuruba villages. Return to Jeypore. Overnight at Jeypore.
Day 13: Jeypore - Visakapatnam
Morning after breakfast, drive to Visakapatnam. Evening free. Overnight at Vishakapatnam.
Day 14: Visakhapatnam
Morning after breakfast, transfer to domestic airport for flight to your onward destination. Tour ends. |
