Situated on the western coastline of India, Goa is often referred to as ”Goa Dourada” (meaning” Golden Goa”) because of its picturesque landscape, sun drenched beaches, historic monuments, pleasant climate and hospitable people.
The beaches can be compared with the best beaches around the world. Churches and forts in Old Goa take the visitor to an era far back in time. Goa is rich not only in culture or entertainment, but it also has a rich floral and faunal heritage making it a complete destination.
Day 1: Delhi / Goa (Flt)
Morning time free. Later transfer to airport to board flight for Goa. Arrive Goa and transfer to hotel. Rests of the day relax on the beach. Overnight.
Day 2: Goa
Morning visit the St. Francis Church where Vasco-da-Gama was originally buried which was built by Portuguese in 1510 AD. Also visit the Santa Cruz Cathedral - Roman Catholic Church built in 16th century. Return to hotel. Rest of the day time free for independent activities or relax in the beach.
Overnight.
Day 3: Goa
Morning leave for the visit of Old Goa. Here the ensemble of monasteries, convents and chapels will take you back to the days when the Apostle of the Indies, St. Francis Xavier, preached the Gospel of Christ. Return to hotel. In the afternoon, if you are lucky to be there on Wednesday visit the Anjuna Flea Market Later in the evening return to hotel. Overnight.
Day 4: Goa / Bombay (Flt)
Morning time free for independent activities. Afternoon transfer to airport to connect flight for Bombay. Arrive and time free for shopping. Transfer to hotel and Overnight
Day 5: Bombay / Europe
Morning breakfast. Leave for airport to connect flight for Europe |
