This journey takes you from the Coromandel to the Malabar Coasts. Southern India is the country's Dravidian heartland where great civilizations, from the ancient Chola Dynasty to the British Raj, have left a legacy of temples, palaces and graceful cities.The tranquil beauty of the Kerala backwaters, the peaceful Hoysala temples, and the bustling bazaars of Madurai and Cochin are just someof the highlights of this journey.
Day 01: Abroad / Chennai
Leave for Chennai. Arrive Chennai in the night. Overnight
Day 02: Chennai
Morning visit the Kaplaeeswarar temple, dedicated to Lord Siva. Later visit the Fort St. George, and the Museum which has an astounding collection of early Chennai. In the evening time free for the shopping.Overnight.
 Day 03: Chennai / Mahabalipuram
Morning leave for towards the wonderful ethnic beach resort at Mahabalipuram.Afternoon viist the five Rathas Temples,rock-cut monoliths and the Shore Temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Later in the evening stroll in the beach. Overnight.
Day 04: Mahabalipuram / Kanchipuram / Pondicherry
Morning drive to Pondichery. En route visit, Kanchipuram the erstwhile capital of the Pallava and Chola rulers. Arrive & in the afternoon visit to Sri Aurobindo Ashram and Maitri Mandir in Auroville. vernight.

Day 05: Pondicherry / Chidambaram / Tanjore
Morning drive to Tanjore via Gangai konda Cholapuram and Darasuram. Enroute visit the beautiful emple, dedicated to Lord Nataraja at Chidambaram. Continue towards Tanjore. Arrive & time free for relax.Overnight.
Day 06: Tanjore / Trichy / Madurai
Morning visit the Brihadisvara Temple,also known as the "Big Temple". Leave for Madurai. Enroute stop at Trichy for the visit the Sri Ranganathasvami Temple,dedicated to Vishnu. Also visit the Rock-Fort which is the landmark of Trichy.Continue drive to Madurai. Arrive and time free for relax. Overnight.
Day 07: Madurai
Morning visit the world famous Meenakshi Sundereshwara Temple dedicated to Minakshi. In the afternoon visit the Tirumalai Nayak Palace and the Gandhi Museum.Later in the evening attend the Puja ceremony in the Meenakshi Temple. Overnight

Day 08: Madurai / Periyar
Morning, drive through the winding mountain roads to Periyar. Cradled in mist shrouded mountains, Periyar nestles close to the dense rain forests of the High Ranges.Afternoon explore the Periyar National Park by a private boat. Overnight in the reserve
Day 09: Periyar / Backwaters / Cochin
Morning after Tea/Coffee walk through the interior of jungle accompanied by a tribal forest ranger/guide. Later after breakfast continue towards Kottayam to board on the Houseboat called « Kettuvallam ». Enjoy the boat cruise on the enchanting backwaters through the coconut groves and quiet lagoons. After 2 hours of navigation disembark and drive towards Cochin. Arrive and time free.Overnight.
Day 10: Cochin
Morning visit the St. Francis Church, built in 1503 by Portuguese Franciscan friars,The Jewish ynagogue, one of the oldest in India. Afternoon visit of Cochin, with a fine natural harbour, which has been Kerala's center of trade for innumerable centuries. Visit the Mattancherry Palace or "Dutch Palace built in 1557 AD. Evening,stroll along the beach, particularly at sunset with the Chinese fishing nets. Enjoy the spectacle of Kathakali dance overnight.
Day 11: Cochin / Bombay (Flight)
Morning fly to Mumbai. Afternoon city tour of Mumbai -. The Gateway of India, The Hanging gardens, Prince of Wales Museum and the Gandhi Museum. Time free for shopping. In the evening transfer to hotel where room swill be provided for wash and change. In the night transfer to International airport

Day 12: Bombay / Abroad
Fly to Abroad. Arrive in the morning. |
